Parking and truck access

Please arrange suitable legal parking or loading access for the moving truck at both addresses before move day, including any permits or building approvals that may be required. Let us know about long carries, restricted access, low-clearance entries, stairs or other access issues when requesting your quote, as these can affect the truck, crew and time required for the move.

Stairs and multi-level homes

Stairs add time to every move. Tell us how many levels are involved and whether the staircase has a tight turn, because that determines how heavy items such as fridges, washing machines and large sofas are handled.

Larger homes and difficult access

Larger moves, or moves with difficult access at either end, may be better handled with an additional mover or a larger truck depending on the volume and the access involved. We’ll tell you what we’d recommend when we quote.
